Awakening the Greatness Within!
"What we focus on outside is a reflection of what we feel inside.” Anonymous
Are you struggling these days with the content of your thoughts? I know I am! I have written previous blogs about maintaining a calm and positive outlook as we swim daily through what has become the most chaotic time man has seen in a very long time.
If you're not wearing a mask in public you are not respecting your neighbor; we tend to judge those choosing not to wear a mask as somewhat 'moronic' (that was a term I heard the other day) and of course the 'self-ish' label is applied. If you're not shouting out load that Black Lives Matter, or, you express that All Lives Matter, then you are one of the elite who doesn't understand how those of a different skin are so poorly treated. Politically it is a landmine to express your thoughts concerning the current administration and the 'work' they are doing.
Where do we go from here? I 'know' we are all on a monopoly board simply moving around and around. I 'know' all that we experience on this plane of existence is an illusion and as such, buying into the negativity that is saturating the planet now is folly. Still, I have come to a place where my need to see my fellow man act with grace and dignity, compassion and honor seems to have hit a feverish pitch. If I am to ask you to live at your highest vibration, I know I too must walk that talk.
I believe I am in need of a little extra light shining on my path. I am in need of a ref-filling of my well of pure and loving waters. And so, I will spread kindness and compassion wherever I go; and as I receive these gifts in return, my well will fill, the light around me will be a beacon of Love for others.
If you're reading this and want to reach out with a little caring to share, contact me with your pearls of wisdom. your love and light at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, I will continue to be a living embodiment of kindness and compassion, and keep opinion/judgment as far from my thoughts as possible, and I will practice the art of pondering/reflecting as often as needed!
“Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.” Margaret J. Wheatley
